I'm a software engineer completing a B.Sc. in Computer Science at The Academic College of Tel Aviv–Yaffo. My interests sit where backend architecture, product engineering, and security meet — the layer where a clean design decision determines whether something scales, stays secure, and lasts.
I gravitate toward problems that demand careful thinking: asynchronous pipelines, grounding AI output in real source data, row-level access control, and the unglamorous work of handling third-party APIs that fail. I write Python, TypeScript and C/C++ with discipline, and I'm comfortable end to end — from data pipelines and REST APIs down to OS-level networking.
I'm looking for a full-time backend or full-stack engineering role on a team that cares about getting it right — where I can own real systems and keep shipping things people actually use.

Accessible Academic — AI Lecture Platform
Turns university lecture recordings into captioned video and generated study material — topics, summaries and flashcards — built for students who cannot rely on listening alone. An asynchronous FastAPI pipeline moves each recording through FFmpeg normalization, AssemblyAI Hebrew speech-to-text with word-level timestamps, and LLM generation, so long jobs run in the background while the API stays responsive.
- ↳ Grounding validation pass re-checks every summary and flashcard against the source transcript, rewriting or dropping unsupported claims.
- ↳ Asynchronous pipeline orchestrating ingestion, transcription and generation without blocking the API.

BiteWise — Nutrition Tracking PWA
A bilingual (Hebrew/English) nutrition-tracking app running in production, with full RTL/LTR layout, Google sign-in and PWA install. Scans barcodes live against Open Food Facts, and for private-label products that exist in no database at all, reads the nutrition label straight off a photo.
- ↳ Live barcode scanning — native BarcodeDetector with a ZXing fallback — resolved against Open Food Facts.
- ↳ Every table secured with per-user Row Level Security; AI calls rate-limited per user and cached in Postgres to keep cost bounded.
- ↳ Calorie and macro targets from Mifflin–St Jeor; workout expenditure from MET and ACSM equations.

Paste any public recipe post URL and the app fetches the thumbnail, parses the caption into structured ingredients and step-by-step instructions, and saves it to your collection. Google sign-in keeps recipes private and synced across devices.
